Due to expansion, they are actively looking for anOPERATIONS MANAGER with Food, Beverage, Ingredient, Color or Flavor Manufacturing experience to run a plant with approximately 80 employees with plans to expand to 125 ee?s
The Operations Manager leads and optimizes manufacturing operations for the production of natural food ingredients used by the food and beverage industry. This role oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent production while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
The successful candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, process controls, and quality systems. They will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing operations while developing the systems, teams, and capabilities needed to support our continued growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities who can effectively balance technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive performance, accountability, and organizational development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Several years? experience within food, beverage, ingredient, flavor, color, pharmaceutical, or another regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge of process manufacturing, quality systems, and applicable food, ingredients or pharmaceutical regulations.
- Proven ability to understand, maintain, and improve complex manufacturing processes.
- Experience leading production teams and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience developing systems, processes, and people to support organizational growth (5+ years in an operations leadership role preferred).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and change management skills.
