The Judge Group is seeking an Engineering Supervisor - Structural Engineering for a manufacturing company located in the Charlotte, NC area.
Title: Engineering Supervisor - Structural Engineering
Location: Charlotte, NC Area
Salary: $140k-$160k
Relocation: YES
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of engineers, estimators, and detailers supporting utility structure projects
- Oversee structural designs, pricing support, and fabrication drawings for steel poles, towers, and related components
- Set team priorities, monitor workloads, and ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule
- Enforce consistent use of engineering standards, design methods, and best practices
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate engineering staff
- Collaborate with sales and customers to support bids and strengthen partnerships
- Participate in leadership initiatives focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Support plant operations, customer visits, and industry events as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Prior experience leading or supervising technical teams preferred
- Background in structural steel, utility poles, towers, or related steel products
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and connection design
- Master's degree in Engineering or Business is a plus
- Willingness to relocate for future growth opportunities
